Boxing clever

Had a lovely evening after selling the maxi Cosi Pebble car seat, played in the box for the rest of the evening while I cooked tea! Looks like the antibiotics are kicking in we're in a much better mood for fun

Awkward but loving

Last night I felt quite loving towards bf but as the evening progressed we had a minor incident with 9 month daughter who we had left on a low sofa with Luke. He got up to help us with dinner then next thing we heard was a thud and Phoebe screaming!  Poor thing had crawled to the edge and fell! Luckily only a minor bump and lots of tears thankfully bf is a paramedic and I had first aid training, we kept an eye on her and she was ok.  Bit of a mood killer but I still was intimate when we eventually got to bed

Stuff crawling!

Well a lovely bank holiday weekend was had, we went to the allotment and you watched me and daddy dig and weed, planted the tomatoes, beans and potatoes. Lovely sunny days, in the afternoons you slept a little and when we put you on a blanket on the floor, you got frustrated except when I stood you up then you started having fun trying to steady yourself on daddy's footrest! You spent ages trying to hold yourself into it and stood for some time!  Very proud, we will get on with carpeting your room soon and must buy some cupboard door locks!

Little things

You started making clicking sounds, oh just realises it's grandad Farmer clicking his fingers!  Such a clever way of copying when you tried clicking your fingers and couldn't get them to make the sound you clicked your tongue instead!  You love the sit up ring you sit in it for ages, even fall asleep in it

February

Not much work for dad, but we manage.  Thankfully Grandma helped financially, but dad & I are going through a very tough patch.  He can't get enough of you though as we both enjoy the little things you have been learning.  We have an iphone app called 'ginger', a talking kitten that also brushes it's teeth.  You have started copying it. our aim each day is to make you laugh which you do easily, you like being stood up on our laps and are fascinated by the mirror!

Return to Work

Due to Dad not finding work I had to go back early.  Which meant tearing myself away from the loving care I was giving you and the joy of seeing you each day, but Grandma Farmer had offered to help for 3 days a week and once dad found work hire a babysitter.  We had started weaning you in late December, by mid March you were on 3 meals a day.

Sept-Dec 2012

Sleepy Phoebe stage, you were tiny and on 3 hour feeds as per instruction from the midwives (weight police).every week I took you to be weighed and you were steadily gaining weight.  Colic was a major problem and was horrible hearing you cry and not being able to help!  But Grandma paid for baby massage lessons and I did some exercises with you which you loved and it took your mind off things. Everybody loves you and from 10 weeks your smile started to shine through, that and your beautiful long eyelashes and gorgeous eyes.  I took you to a Farmer family BBQ and you were kidnapped by Aunt Liz, the other aunts and uncles adored you.  Christmas soon came and we spent the day at Grandma/grandad Farmer's, and took a day trip to Plymouth to see Aunt Julie and Grandma/Grandad Horn
